In addition to preserving and promoting the rich Austrian heritage through culture programs and special events in the DC area, membership in the American-Austrian Cultural Society (AACS) comes with several benefits. 

• Invitation to participate in select members-only events.
  
• Discounted access to select events throughout the year.
  
• Free (optional) membership in the World Federation of Austrians Abroad ("Weltbund" - Website in German, Brochure in English).
• Weltbund Members receive the Weltbund Advantage Card, offering discounts for staying in Austria 
• Weltbund Members also receive "RotWeissRot", the quarterly magazine for Austrians abroad (in German language)
• Connecting with like-minded enthusiasts in celebrating Austrian culture.
  
• Eligibility to vote in AACS elections or run for office.
  

There are no automatic recurring fees or payments. You will be invited to renew your membership after 12 months.  

As a non-profit organization, the AACS has been granted 501 (c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service. Members may deduct membership fees and contributions to the Society from their federal taxes.
