Please join us for our annual “Wiener Kaffeehaus Jause” (Traditional Viennese Concert Café) on Monday, February 17, 2025 (Presidents’ Day) from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. in partnership with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Washington, DC.
Immerse yourself in the charm of Vienna on a leisurely afternoon, enjoying a mesmerizing musical performance featuring classics by Austrian and American composers. Savor traditional Apfelstrudel mit Schlag (apple strudel with whipped cream) alongside Viennese coffee, or indulge in delicious Belegte Brötchen (open-faced sandwiches), complemented by
Austrian wines.
This year’s program features wonderful musical entertainment by celebrated mezzo-soprano, Ms. Amanda Zoe Vest, who has delighted audiences in Virginia and across the U.S. Ms. Vest will be accompanied by concert pianist and conductor Mr. Mark Irchai. You can look forward to a memorable performance featuring songs and pieces by Johann Strauss II, Franz Schubert, Richard Strauss, Kurt Weill, and other Austrian and American composers.
